Day 5: Profile Optimization
For today, the task is to optimize any of your social media profiles or accounts in freelancing according to the instructions inside the guide we provided.
If you can optimize ALL, that’s great.
But for today, all we’re asking is to optimize one profile whether it’s Facebook,
LinkedIn, or other platforms.
Ideally, use the platform where you market is.
Mahirap naman kung wala naman sa FB yung market mo pero sa FB ka nag-ooptimize.
Also, you do NOT need to do everything outlined in the guides.
Focus on what you have right now.
If you can’t follow a specific instruction because you don’t have it (like if you don’t have client reviews or portfolio just yet), that’s fine.
If you don’t know how to ‘design’ and you can only manage a plain black and white background, that’s fine as well.
If you’re still not sure about your offer, that’s fine too.
Remember that you can always improve and change your profile later.
Heck, when I first started…
All I have is a simple white banner and an angry looking face as my profile pic (hanggang ngayon naman ata ganun pa din ung profile pic ko).
But it didn’t stop me from getting clients.
And the only two (2) things that important are important for today’s task:
- You do this RIGHT NOW.
- Make sure that when someone looks at your profile, they would know specifically WHO you serve and WHAT problem you are solving.
If you have those two, you’re already golden.
Good day. 🙂
P.S. I know there are people who may be hiding the fact that they are trying to go freelance for a myriad of reasons.
If that’s you, then choose the platform where you won’t be seen like creating an account on LinkedIn or creating an account in any of the freelancing platforms instead.
