Want to get clients without feeling sleazy or salesy?
Dear Freelancer,
Let me cut to the chase.
Do you proactively connect with your ideal prospects?
Do you have a steady stream of leads?
Do you have a system for converting those leads into clients?
If you answered ‘NO’ to any of these 3 questions, there’s a good chance that freelancing for you feels like treading water.
So what’s the antidote?
Going back to the basics.
I’m talking about upping your Connecting game with sound marketing principles…
NOT on the latest freelancing tactics.
“Sabi ni ganito, eto daw lagay ko sa profile ko sa UpWork para makakuha ng client…”
“Sabi ni ganyan, dapat daw skill ko web dev para malaki kita”
“Sabi ni ganire, eto daw na site gamitin ko para daw mas madaming clients”
Puro si ganyan… si ganito…
Hmmm… Puwede.
We teach tactics too inside the Tribe.
However, when you only focus on something at a tactical level, mas mabilis pang malaos ang freelance business mo kesa sa latest meme na nag-viral.
The problem is not the tactics.
The problem is, constantly chasing after the next trick, magic bullet, or “surface level” shortcuts just to get ahead.
Because here’s the thing…
Tactics change. And it often does in an instant.
Relying on tactics is like building a house on a sandy beach — when the tide rises, there’s a good chance it’s gonna collapse.
This is where good ol “principles” come in.
When you CONNECT with your market using sound marketing principles, wag kang magugulat kung makakuha ka ng premium client.
Like Rubie…
Not only was it her first time sending a cold email, napabilib pa yung client sakanya.
Or like Dara who got a DC invite…
And Gizelle who got a whopping 52 prospects to notice her…
It doesn’t matter if it’s UpWork, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google so long as you do it consistently with sound marketing principles.
Now…
Does this sound familiar to you?
“John pano ko ibebenta service ko without being pushy?”
I get it.
The idea of doing cold outreach makes you feel pushy or inauthentic.
The last thing you want is to come across as a sleazy salesperson when promoting your services.
Yung tipong nasa mall ka then someone with a huge umbrella suddenly approaches you and says, “Excuse me po, may credit card na po ba kayo?”
It’s easy to come across like that when you’re only after your self-interest.
But here’s the truth: attracting your dream clients doesn’t have to involve any sleazy or salesy tactics at all.
In fact, when done right, prospecting can be a genuine way to connect with the right people and offer real value.
The problem is, most freelancers take the wrong approach to prospecting. They either avoid it entirely out of fear, or they use outdated tactics that seem disingenuous.
Knowing how to get prospects interested in you and your service can literally spell the difference between finding that premium client with unstoppable momentum… or hitting a brick wall and considering quitting freelancing entirely.
And we simply won’t allow the 2nd scenario to happen if we can do something about it.
Which is why on Saturday, June 15 at 1PM, we’ll be having a hands-on, in-person TRIBE Bootcamp about Prospecting using the RCBCC Method in two (2) locations: Quezon City and Lipa, Batangas.
In this Bootcamp, we’ll show you a different and authentic way to connect with prospective clients.
At the end of the day, you can expect to reach out to 10 prospects using your own style of connecting. Plus, get it reviewed by a coach for improvement.
If you’re in Stage 2, I highly recommend blocking off the entire day so you can join us for another training that promises to be EPIC.
Bakit?
Because not only will we help you get the RCBCC Framework down pat…
We’ll also have a special Networking Night to cap off the Bootcamp.
Here’s what we’ll cover during the Bootcamp
The RCBCC Prospecting Framework
Before we get into the nitty gritty of closing your prospects, we’ll first discuss the RCBCC Framework step-by-step.
Here’s what each letter stands for:
R stands for Reason.
C stands for Care.
B stands for Bridge.
C stands for Call to Action.
And C stands for Check.
Now each letter has a fundamental principle behind it which you’ll come to know during the Bootcamp.
Educate yourself on the right principles and strategies and you can be sure that no client no matter how huge can ever leave you broke.
And to make sure you understand these, we’re going to have…
Prospecting Sprints
There will be at least three (3) prospecting sprints during the Bootcamp.
Meaning to say, you’ll immediately be putting into action the principles you learn (that’s the point of the Bootcamp by the way).
Now these sprints are meant to guide you and help troubleshoot any common prospecting challenge you encounter.
In fact, during the sprint, you’ll be developing your own personalized prospecting plans like Coach Shoden who uses the RCBCC Framework to talk to big name clients like these…
This way you can build your own list of dream clients and automate the entire process, from outreach to follow-ups.
Which brings me next to…
LIVE Q&A and Coaching Feedback
Now unlike the Tribe Bootcamps in the past, this time around there will only be 30 slots available per location.
Yep.
30 lang sa QC. 30 lang sa Lipa.
No more, no less.
This is so our Coaches and Bootcamp Facilitators can spend more time helping and guiding yung mga nakakuha ng slot.
For the Quezon City Bootcamp, we’ll be having Coach Ice and Coach Herlene. Meanwhile for the Lipa, Batangas Bootcamp, we’ll be having Coach Shoden.
Finally, we’ll wrap things up with…
Networking Night
Syempre, hindi mawawala ‘to.
The Networking Night is an opportunity for you to get to know other attendees and build connections.
Just like Jayrald who had this to say for the last Bootcamp…
“Pero John bakit pa ko aattend in person? May prospecting pod naman na sa Tribe”
Yes, that’s true.
While our Zoom-led prospecting pods have their place, there’s no substitute for hands-on, in-person training when it comes to mastering a high-value skill like prospecting.
This is where the real magic happens.
After our prospecting sprints, you’ll get to connect and mingle with other like-minded freelancers who “get it.”
We call it the “Tribe Magic” effect – which, for some unknown reason, happens during in-person events.
Here’s how Nica Jose described it…
Remember…
This Bootcamp will only have 30 slots per location – to guarantee a fun, intimate hands-on learning session with our Tribe Coaches.
So… How Much Is A Bootcamp Ticket?
For Tribe members, tickets for the Tribe Bootcamp are only PHP 2,000.
